Post-‘brekky’, we’d realize how poor our timing was, as we missed the bus to Eumundi by a few minutes, and would now need to wait 1 hour… we wandered the shops of Noosa Heads and then enjoyed our 40-minute local bus ride through Tewantin and Cooroy to Eumundi. The markets here are HUGE! It takes hours to get around to all of the various kiosks that exist. We tried a few new foods, people watched, and simply enjoyed exploring – before catching another bus back to Noosa!
Of course the sunshine had to make a slight break and tempt me to hike some more… and off around the coastal track of Noosa National Park I went. Crossing Alexandria Bay and Sunshine Beaches to connect my trails, I found my way up (the big cliff!) and into the town of Sunshine Beach, perfectly timing a step onto the local bus back to Noosa with a super-friendly driver and beautiful sunset to enjoy! Ahhhh… so lovely!
